Anche se il filo risponde bene ad alte temperature, lava la camicia a 30°C o al massimo 40°C. È la temperatura ideale per tutelare sia il ricamo che la fibra della camicia.

Scegli un detersivo liquido delicato per capi colorati. Evita detersivi in polvere generici, candeggina, perossido e sbiancanti ottici, poiché alterano il fissaggio del colore.

Appena finisce il lavaggio, stendi subito il capo. Lasciare la camicia umida e accartocciata nel cestello può far trasferire il colore del filo sul tessuto chiaro.

Se temi che un ricamo scuro possa perdere colore, al primo lavaggio puoi effettuare un risciacquo veloce aggiungendo un goccio di aceto bianco, che agisce come fissante naturale per i pigmenti.

Choose a mild liquid detergent for colored clothes. Avoid generic powder detergents, bleach, peroxide, and optical brighteners, as they ruin the color fixing.

As soon as the wash cycle finishes, hang the shirt to dry immediately. Leaving the garment damp and crumpled in the drum can cause the thread color to transfer onto the light fabric.

If you are worried that a dark embroidery might bleed color, you can perform a quick rinse during the first wash with a splash of white vinegar, which acts as a natural color fixer.
